By creating an account or using Vantage Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Service

Vantage Academy is an online education platform that provides access to pre-recorded video courses and digital educational content. We are a software platform, not a service provider.

Important: Vantage Academy does not provide human services of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Consulting or advisory services
  • Legal advice or legal services
  • Coaching or mentoring services
  • Access to a community of experts
  • One-on-one tutoring or personal instruction
  • Professional services or personalized guidance

All course content consists of pre-recorded educational materials created by instructors. Any interaction with instructors or other users is incidental to the primary offering of digital course content.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Students

As a student, you agree to:

  • Use course content solely for personal educational purposes
  • Not share, distribute, or resell course materials
  • Respect intellectual property rights of instructors
  • Engage respectfully with instructors and other students

4.2 Instructors

As an instructor, you agree to:

  • Own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload
  • Provide accurate and high-quality educational content
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Respond to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner

5. Payment Processing

All course purchases are processed through our authorized payment processor, which acts as the merchant of record for transactions. When you purchase a course, the payment processor is responsible for:

  • Processing all payments and refunds
  • Collecting and remitting all applicable sales taxes and VAT
  • Providing purchase confirmations and invoices
  • Handling payment-related customer support

By making a purchase, you agree to comply with the payment processor's terms of service in addition to these terms.

6. Revenue Sharing and Instructor Payments

Vantage Academy works with instructors to create and deliver high-quality courses. As compensation for content creation, instructors receive 90% of the net revenue from their course sales after payment processing fees and taxes. Vantage Academy retains 10% for platform maintenance, hosting, support services, and content management.

Payment terms and schedules are outlined in instructor agreements. All payments to instructors are made by Vantage Academy following confirmed sales transactions.

7. Content Ownership and License

By uploading content to Vantage Academy, instructors grant Vantage Academy the rights necessary to distribute, host, and manage the course content on the platform.

Students who purchase courses receive a limited, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for personal educational use only. This license is granted for the lifetime of your account, subject to compliance with these terms.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or payment disputes
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use automated systems to access the platform without authorization
  • Attempt to circumvent payment or access controls

9. Payment and Refunds

All payments for course purchases are processed securely through our payment processor. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and other payment options as available in your region.

Course prices are set by Vantage Academy and may change at any time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are final for that transaction. All prices include applicable taxes as calculated and collected by our payment processor.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR USEFULNESS OF ANY CONTENT. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY OF COURSES OR OUTCOMES OF YOUR LEARNING.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAGE ACADEMY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
